Today's Christmas jumper

Tony and I have had a wander out dropping cards off to friends and neighbours today. When we came back we nipped out to a little garden centre/nursery and picked up some more chipped bark to spread on the veg plot paths.  It always gets very boggy down there through the winter months and we usually stay off that bit of garden. Since turning it into a veggie plot I have needed to walk on the bark paths and they were getting a bit squidgy. We came back from the garden centre to find that our neighbour has removed the damaged fence but didn't discuss with us what his plans are. They are responsible for the boundary on that side of the garden but casually remarked the other day that they would pay half. I'd rather put a hedge in even though it will take a few years to grow so I need to speak to him and let him know my intentions.

Today's jumper makes me look rather like a Christmas tree... not that I care :-)

  2. Had to laugh at you looking like a Xmas tree..........Over here, fences are always divided between neighbours & its a nuisance if someone's is just a little bit because we do have some funny shaped blocks and we had 6 bits of neighbouring fencing over at No.4, but luckily never needed renewing. Stay warm & hugs.

    1. Here we are responsible for one side or the other. We've put a hedge on the side that we are responsible for and are more than happy to put one on the other side too.

  3. Are you two the Xmas couple ??? We don’t celebrate Xmas in japan. I have a pop up tree and a few bits but that is all. The kids are not taught religion. As they are not a religious country. It’s a very odd country but I do love it.

    1. Tony and I prefer to think of it as the winter solstice rather than attach any religious significance.
