The kindness of our neighbour.... And the wolf

We had planned to go over to Northallerton today to pick up a few last bits and pieces but it's been so soggy, damp and miserable. There's nothing in Northallerton that we can't pick up a bit closer to home so we decided that we'll leave it until next week and shop a bit closer to home.

I've been adapting an old beading pattern that I have and am in the process of making a pair of wolf earrings.  The second wolf will have a slightly different colour pattern and  either blue or green eyes depending on my mood tomorrow when I make it.

My lovely neighbour Joan popped over and asked if Tony would run her over to our local parcel collection depot.  He was more than happy to do that but was stunned when Joan gave him the money to pay for a meal Tony and I have booked this coming week. She flatly refused to take it back from him. I've been keeping her supplied with fruit and veg from my garden this past year and have in fact been giving her apples from our tree these past couple of weeks but I have always been more than willing to share any surplus.

  4. Love your wolf. For some reason my elderly mum loves anything to do with wolves, we have bought her a wolf jigsaw and a frame to put it in as part of her Christmas gifts.
