Good morning my lovely blogging friends. I got up this morning to find a decent covering of snow and it's quite fitting as I can at last make a start on the big reveal. We aren't completely finished as we still have the conservatory to Christmasify but today is the turn of the living room/diner. I will do some close up shots of different bits over the weekend. But first let me tell you about yesterday. Tony and I had been invited over to our friends for lunch and oh boy what a lovely lunch we had. We started with the most delicious homemade soup followed by sweet potato topped cottage pie and veggies. Then we spent the afternoon playing Rummikub finishing off the afternoon with coffee and dessert. They were such good company and set the mood nicely for Christmas.
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake..........
