It's such a lovely morning that the urge to clean overwhelmed me. Don't worry I did fight it but it won so I threw open the windows upstairs and dusted more like defluffed all the furniture. My only excuse is that I am a lazy so and so and housework is not top of my list when I could be out gardening. It's all sparkling now and smells of clean fresh air and polish. I've moved things around in the porch and am eyeballing it with a view to growing some winter veggies in there. There's plenty of room for a tray or two of something edible and it gets the sunshine for a good part of the day. We never use the front door as we have a door on the side of the house which leads into the kitchen and it's more convenient to use.
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Happy October!
ReplyDeleteLol. The housework was calling me too, but procrastination just the best of me and I didn't end of doing most of it. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteNo way are you lazy, you just have other priorities, that's all. :-)
