I have just walked into the conservatory door and I really hope I don't end up with a black eye or people will think that Tony has bashed me. I'd like it on record that he has not and would not even though he might be sorely tempted from time to time. :-) My glasses have dug into my face and it brought tears to my eyes so ouch and double ouch.
Plans for the car camping continue at a pace. We need to get a piece of plywood cut to fit the car boot but yesterday I made a nice thick mattress base to put on top of it to create a bed base for the car. We've bought a couple of decent sleeping bags and are starting to make simple modifications to the car to enable us to camp in it as soon as we are able. It is going to be such fun and we're both quite excited at the thought of how liberating it will be. It's something we had considered a few years ago before I had the disastrous hip operation. Now that my leg is as good as it's ever going to be it's time to give it a try. As Alexander would say YOLO... ;-)
Ooh Cherie, that sounds painful! Hope you don't get the black eye. Are you thinking of going car camping soon then?
