My new header shows the beautiful Roseberry Topping. I'm so lucky to live in such a lovely area and used to walk this walk twice a week. Now that my leg is stronger I'm hoping to walk it once again when Tony retires next year. We have so many plans and car camping has opened up a whole exciting new era for us both. It's a great way to tour Britain very cheaply and I am spending a little time each day finding potential park ups for us. Our plan is to eat out in the little towns and villages that we stop over in so that we can support the local economies rather than spending our money abroad. Good old blighty needs us to do this more than ever just now and I'd far rather support a pub or a little cafe here in the UK. We have such stunning scenery and when himself is retired we can go where the wind blows when the weather is decent. If you visit somewhere pretty here in the UK please let me know and I'll put it on our list of places to visit.

ReplyDeleteI love camping. Like you said it is fairly cheap and I love being able to walk out of my tent in the morning and see the sun rise.
I loved visiting Cornwall. Mum and I did it a couple of times in recent years and the scenery is just beautiful. I love how wild looking it is. There are so many beautiful places in England and the UK that it would be difficult to choose!

ReplyDeleteJust caught up with your car camping escapades, lucky you and I hope you get on well with it. Like you I often watch youtube videos and wish I was a bit younger to do it myself. I also love the tiny homes some people have.
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple over the road who have one of these rooms on top of their range rover, they look quite big inside.
