Tony is fast asleep and I'm sitting in the conservatory just gazing through the window making a planting plan for the veggies tomorrow. I have some spare room to get a bit of sowing done and if the weather holds out tomorrow I will be making a start. It's lovely eating seasonally and this year I have grown practically every piece of veg that we have eaten. I'm laying down supplies for the winter too. Pickling and dehydrating things as we get a bit of a glut. The apples are starting to drop off the neighbours tree and I will be scooping them up and prepping them for the dehydrator in a few days. I want to try my hand at making elderberry wine this year and will definitely be making more of the rosehip and elderberry syrup. Last year I made some and we had a teaspoonful every day. Who knows whether it warded off colds and flu viruses but we didn't even have so much as a sniffle.

There is nothing nicer than fresh garden produce, the taste is better than anything shop bought.
