My friend text at 06.30 to say that she was going back to bed and wouldn't be walking this morning. I sprang into action.... stripped the bed, loaded the washing machine and took myself off out for a walk in the rain. I got absolutely soaked through to the skin but blimey it was refreshing. I've just moved as much furniture out of the room as I can in prep for the big carpet clean. It wouldn't be fair to the neighbours to start vacuuming before 8am so I'm going to do a bit of skirting board cleaning with a damp cloth while I'm in domestic cleaning mode. I've done my You Tube research and this will be me later this morning
