It's been a lovely warm and sunny day today and I have spent most of it working in the garden. I've no idea where the time goes when I am out there but it flies past. I dug a load of iris and a huge mound of Japanese anemones out of the garden. The little blighters were making a takeover bid for the border so I put them into bags and I offered them on Gumtree free of charge. One bag has just been collected and it's nice to think they didn't end up in the green waste bin.
For tea we popped over to Redcar and had a lovely walk along the promenade. We said knickers to the diet and had fish and chips straight out of the cardboard box and smothered with salt and vinegar. It was really nice but I only managed half the chips. I don't know why we don't go more often as it's only a fifteen minute drive away.
Great to share the extra garden goodies & a walk at Redcar, then fish & chips sounds ideal. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely evening for a walk along the promenade.
DeleteOoooh - fish and chips. Yummy. Must put a SW friendly equivalent on my food plan at some point. xx
ReplyDeleteI'd give that a try. x
DeleteWe like to have a stroll and eat the fish and chips out of the box. We wasted so much that we only buy one portion between us now and it works so much better.
ReplyDeleteTony's eyes would pop out if I suggested sharing a portion :-)
