Busy day

This morning Tony and I popped over to B and M to buy a trellis fence panel just to give us a bit of privacy from the neighbours. I have a couple of rooted cuttings from a jasmine that we dug out and it will be allowed to weave its way through the trellis and perfume the air. We've given it two coats of Cuprinol in our favourite shade  'Willow' to match the rest of our fence.  Then being mad English people we spent a couple of hours in the stifling heat this afternoon painting it... Cor blimey it was a right old faff.

It's been way to hot to eat indoors so we sat outside at the garden table and enjoyed tea 'al fresco'.

The salmon with a feta and walnut salad followed with strawberries and Greek yoghurt was flipping lovely

  2. The trellis and furniture look lovely - a job well done. The advantage of painting in this glorious weather (I'm too hot doesn't exist in my vocabulary) is that it dries really quickly! xxx
