Beautiful Thornton Hall

Well the weather forecast was wrong today and I am so pleased that rain didn't arrive. This morning my friends and I had a trip out to Thornton Hall.

Thornton Hall Gardens - Country House Gardens outside Darlington, County Durham

Oh my word the gardens are stunning and it's definitely well worth the £7.50 to get in. Please check the website for the opening days though as it's only open a few days each year.

There was so much to see in the garden and it's a place I will visit again often to see how it changes over the season.

  1. OMG, they are beautiful. I love visiting UK gardens & enjoy smaller ones that are open too. York Gate is in Adel, a suburb of Leeds, open to the public & worth a visit if you are down that way. Take care & hugs.

    1. The scone with strawberry jam and cream was also a delight... Blow the diet for a change.
