Hello Fresh Debacle

Today I got another email after 4pm to say that the box wasn't going to arrive. It turns out it had been damaged in transit.  I contacted customer services and they have refunded me for the box and credited me with the cost of a full price one for next week. I wouldn't care, the meals I chose looked flipping gorgeous and I was really looking forward to trying them.  I guess these things happen sometimes and in fairness to the company they have done their level best to recompense for the inconvenience. We will see what we think of  next weeks selection and I'll review them here.  Joy, I'd be really interested to see what you chose and read your thoughts on them.  Would you mind if I put a link to your blog when you receive your box. We feel that this will definitely save us money by not being tempted with all the junk on the supermarket shelves. I'll be able to monitor my portion size and we'll add a load of salad and other veggies from the garden so that we eat a really varied diet.

  1. Things happen, but it is nice that they have decent customer service and not only credited you promptly, but are giving you essentially another one to order at credit.

  2. Ack that would really upset me because, as you say, you plan on having it to do the meals! What good is a food service if they aren't going to deliver when they say? I understand things happen but it would put me right off.
