Guilty

 Last night I almost wept when I saw that that dreadful police officer who knelt on the neck of Mr Floyd was found guilty.  If it had been my son's neck I would have been baying for blood.  Mr Floyd's family have received a huge payout and quite rightly too.  Nothing will compensate for the loss of that young man to his mum but it almost felt like a Martin Luther King moment when I heard the guilty verdict.  His name will live on in the hearts and minds of people the world over. Sadly Tony has a friend who is the most appalling racist.  It makes me sick to think that there are people with those views and are willing to spout them to one another in their private little chat rooms.  I jump down hard on any racist comment made in my presence which needless to say does not make me very popular with a few people.  I can live with that.
