Are you a DJ looking for work

I've just found this radio station on tinterweb and noticed that they are  looking for DJ's. If you have experience of radio presenting it might be worth a shot. It got me thinking.  If anyone knows of any job vacancies why not post them on your blog. I would say that we all move in different circles but that isn't true at the moment is it.  If only one person gets to hear about a job that they might not have done it would be worth a mention on our blogs.

I've been out and had a potter in the garden this morning. It's a bit grey and dull but it's nice and warm so I planted out a few of the veggies that I have been hardening off over the past week. These veggies are tough as boots but if there is a mention of frost I will pop a layer of fleece over them to give them a bit of  protection. This particular bed is about four foot six square and has been very closely planted... an experiment that I am trying.  There are leeks, turnips, radish and beetroot  dotted about on the front part and under the wire cage there is an early sowing of peas. The peas are from a packet of dried peas from my food cupboard.  I have no idea of the variety but as we want them for the shoots to add to salads it won't matter. I grew some last year and they were lovely. Upon the bedroom windowsill I have Calendula seedlings coming along nicely and I intend to plant them so that they spill over the edges of the veggie bed. It will attract pollinators and look really pretty. Best of all we can eat the flowers. I'll be adding them to salads and rice dishes

Tony is off work from tomorrow until Easter and I am hoping that we can get some proper A frame cages made to pop over some of the veggies. It will keep the birds off and means that I can use up some of the wood that I saved from my workshop.  They are a simple enough thing to make and I could easily do it myself but I am trying to encourage Tony to take a bit of interest in the garden. I really do despair of how he will occupy his time when he retires next year.
