An early start.

This morning I was wide awake at 05:00 and just couldn't get back to sleep so at 05:30 I gave in and got up. I have already had a cup of tea and two weetabix but am still sitting in my jim jams. I can't really go and use the shower as Tony is fast asleep (like most normal people). It's Covid jab day today for me and I can't wait to get it over and done with. Alexander and Beckah travelled to York yesterday for theirs.  Beckah takes care of a very disabled little boy so her employer put Alexander forward for a jab too. They treat it like a day out and I think the plan was to take a picnic and eat it in the car somewhere. It's the furthest they have been in over a year so I bet they thoroughly enjoyed the day out.

I think the weather forecast for today looks to be decent so I am planning to spend the afternoon out in the garden just pottering about. I have some brassicas hardened off and they will get planted today when I clear one of the raised beds.

  1. I love early Saturdays before any one else is up. Good luck with your vaccine. I hope you have little side effects.

    1. I hardly felt a thing and there isn't even a mark on my arm where the needle went in.

  4. How did you go after your jab? I had a bit of a temperature for about 12 hours and then I've seemed ok (fingers crossed)
