Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon sorting stuff in my big workshop. I was horrified, though not surprised to see just how rotten it is. From the front it looks lovely but three sides are completely rotten and filled with holes. It's my own fault as I didn't create a big enough space for it really. It's practically squashed up against a brick wall on three sides and the wet has simply wicked trough the bricks. I am amazed that vermin haven't set up home in there... I might get a bit of a shock when we remove the insulation because it could well be that they are living in there. Today we want to nip to to Stokesley and get some meat from the butcher. We bought bacon there the other week and it was probably the best, thickest juiciest bacon we have ever had. The supermarket stuff is a very poor relative and we won't be buying any more supermarket bacon. When we get back we hope to just about clear the big workshop and then we can make a start dismantling it. Here's hoping something small and furry doesn't come charging out.
Stokesly.....we know a young couple there who came to visit Oz with my nephew & his partner a couple of years ago. Hope your dismantling goes well & no furry littlies frighten you. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteIt's just fifteen minutes up the road to Stokesley. I'd happily live there but Tony isn't keen.
