Lovely warm day today

I went out for my walk first thing this morning and was amazed at just how warm it was.  I didn't need my coat so took it off and had to carry it home with me. My friend wasn't in the mood for a walk today so I went out early at 07:15. It's light enough now at that time of day to enjoy looking at the gardens I pass to see what is blooming.  Crocus are popping out all over my borders and the heather and snowdrops are adding a welcome splash of colour. The primula are starting to unfurl their little faces and all around the neighbourhood gardens are starting to show hints of a promise of springtime.  I love this time of year when the garden starts to wake from its long winter sleep.

  1. Glad you've had a spot of nice weather & our local walks are very much sticky beaking at people's gardens too. The new estates, even though boring, are interesting too in their own way to see who gets a garden started & how they go about it & those who don't. Take care & hugs.
