It's snowing heavens hard here and everything is rapidly turning white. It looks pristine and pure and I hope it stays that way for a little while as it looks so beautiful. I haven't decided what I will do today but a bit of paper piecing is on the cards. I've made hexi flowers in three different sizes and my lovely friend Anona down in Brightlingsea has found some green cotton fabric in her stash for me. As soon as it arrives I want to make some leaves to add to the growing pile of components for the quilt. What are you all up to today? Making/baking anything?
Love Brightlingsea, we often went there for a walk and a fish supper. My friend has a beach hut next to the lido. Looking forward to seeing your quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is so pretty. I am making tuna and noodles today.
ReplyDeleteNothing was planned and in truth not a lot has been achieved. I need to do better...
ReplyDeleteOoh, snow & sounds lots of it too. Wonder if Scarborough & Leeds are getting it too? And what will I do today.........a neighbour is coming around to pick some blueberries & needs a little help with some crochet plus is going to have a scrounge in my late Mum's old laces. Maybe I'll be able to also get either some sewing or gardening done too. Rissoles to make for tea tonight & that will be my day & after a long dentist visit yesterday, it will be much even if a tad cool for this time of the year. Take care, stay safe & hugs.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here, no baking either, but it was a lovely full day, all the same.
