A huge difference

We've worked ourselves to a standstill today and are so pleased with the results.  Tomorrow we plan to paint the fence and do all the twiddly bits.  We are bearing in mind that it's the tail end of winter and there isn't much in flower at the moment but give it a few months and it's going to be a glorious riot of summer colour and fabulous fresh veggies. It's been so warm and sunny that I am a little red and sunburned and by tomorrow it will have turned a lovely golden brown.  I've had a good long soak in an Epsom salts bath and Tony is currently soaking his weary bones. I think we've both earned a night in front of the TV.  I hope you have all had a lovely day.

  2. Looking good so far & I'd so love to visit & see it in person. One day maybe. Lucky you if a dose of the sun goes tan. I've got to be careful with fair skin & although grey now, I was a strawberry blonde & burn so easy. Hope the little orange tree survived its ordeal. Take care & hugs.

    1. Hi Susan. I'm a going grey strawberry blonde too and need to wear a factor 50 during the summer months. It's weak winter sun at the moment and that's enough to give me a lovely golden glow. Today is fence painting day and then I can start planning my flower garden displays. Hope one day you can come for a cuppa as it would be lovely to meet you in person. Stay safe.
