Photos of the hedge

The hedge trimming people managed to get halfway along the hedge before dark last night and with a bit of luck it will get finished today. It's made a huge difference already to how much light comes into everyone's garden and it hasn't even been cut down at the bottom of ours.. I've no idea what time they will make a start today as it was around lunch time yesterday that they started the job.   Tony says they have taken about fifteen or twenty feet off the top and it's still around thirty feet high so it shows how overgrown it had been allowed to get. I'll pop back later and show how different my garden looks if they get the job finished today. It will be nice to see blue sky and sunshine through the window for a change. The trees are lovely but the dark dense green is really quite oppressive. I much prefer to see deciduous trees as they share something of interest every season.

Look how much is being removed

It's going to make a huge difference

  2. It looks so different all ready. Are thyme a true hedge that was overgrown, or really thick cluster of trees?
