English Paper Piece Quilting/Applique

This is something I have thought about trying for many years.  Can I ask the experienced quilters whether I need a specialist glue stick or will a Pritt stick or similar be ok to use.  I have tons of little bits of fabric and it's going to be a great way to use them up.

  1. Whoops, I've forgotten what I used many years ago, but I've only ever done EPP a few times, as I didn't like the fiddly bit of taking the papers out & with my applique I usually use vliesofix & either do satin or buttonhole stitch to hold in place on my machine, though I quite enjoy hand buttonhole stitching. I look forward to seeing what you are up to. I'll try & find some info for yo. Take care, stay safe & hugs.

    1. Thanks Susan. I have ordered some paper templates and an applique glue pen. I am quite excited about making a start and will be having a god browse through my fabric stash. The paper templates are quite small so this is going to be a real labour of love. Stay safe love. x
