****head blimmin neighbours.....Bear with me while I have a rant.. It's a bit long winded but I am stomping mad. This morning we needed to pop out in the car. Our first time out in the car since Christmas day. Tony keeps the works van parked on our drive in front of the car. In order to get the car off the drive he first has to move the van.. He parked the van in front of our house directly opposite their house and then we popped out in the car. There and back in twenty five minutes and then unloaded the car. While unloading the car the bloke diagonally opposite came out and started taking photo's of the van.. He had complained to Tony's employer once before about the van in front of their house.. They have two cars one of which is parked on the street. We have one car. The couple directly opposite our house, park their second car directly opposite our drive. Tony has never once complained about this he simply struggles each morning and evening to drive the car or van off or onto our drive. It's not even as if the prat was going anywhere in his car and would struggle to get off the drive. He was just out to cause trouble. I'm blazing mad, can you tell.
Problem neighbours are the pits, we've had a couple over the years so I do sympathise, they can really blight your life. Wouldn't you think everyone's got more serious things to worry about right now?! One can only assume they're bored stiff and looking for something to do. Let's hope they never need help or support from their neighbours.
ReplyDeleteHe's a smarmy so and so usually.
DeleteNasty neighbours, you can't change them.
ReplyDeleteSadly that is true.
DeleteMy mum would say he's clearly got a disappointing sex life!!
ReplyDeleteI would agree with your mum. :-)
DeleteGrrrr - small wonder you are blazing mad, that's not nice at all. What a . . . er . . . horrible person. What's wrong with parking on the road anyway?

I thought some very rude words about him.
DeleteI can just imagine you did! xx
DeleteNeighbours are a pain at times. I feel your pain. Our stay well away from our drive. I think they don't want any confrontation while they have all and sundry visiting during lockdown.
ReplyDeleteIf he wants confrontation he is going the right way about it. It takes a heckuva lot to annoy me but I am seriously annoyed.
DeleteNothing worse than a terrible neighbour. Rise above him Cherie, you are so much better than that.
ReplyDeleteThank you. x
DeleteSending sympathy from the middle of nowhere. Had a weird neighbour once, was a very unpleasant situation. The people on the other side of us were lovely folks. Understand how angry it can make a person. I am so glad our property sale fell through in late 2019 or we would be living in a town with neighbours now. Good advice from mamasmercantile above.
ReplyDeleteI think we could do with living in the middle of nowhere :-)
DeleteSome people just can't help themselves, but we should all try & tolerate our neighbours and speak to them openly if we have a valid complaint & vice versa. Luckily we live in a small court & over this period of lockdown I've tried to be nice to all. Handing out blueberries as helped(giggle). Take care, stay safe & hugs.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree Susan. I'm so laid back that it takes a lot annoy me
DeleteVery petty. I hope it doesn't make trouble with Tony's employer.
ReplyDeleteThere will be hell to pay if it does
DeleteDont go there , we have similar problems , our neighbours been out photographing our car going in and out all week last week . She informs me shes sending it all to the police because we repeatedly break lockdown. I just ignore her because theyre a family of aggresive nutters, cant wait for the police a whole week of hospital trips and i have the letters to prove it
ReplyDeleteComplete *********** aren't they. Feel free o place any rude word you like in here Kate. x
