Starting a new Christmas tradition

 Late last year  we bought these lovely cardboard chests in the after Christmas sale.


I have suggested to Tony that we only put our presents for one another in them. We usually load the two sofas but it's got to the point where we have absolutely everything we could possibly need. Tony has a gorgeous wooden Christmas Eve box that I bought a few years ago but these chests are the perfect size for a bottle of something special, a pair of slippers and some treats.. What more are we likely to need. No matter what I buy Tony he never uses it even if it's something he has asked for.  This seems a far more sensible option.

    Such a great idea. Gerard and I have got to the stage where gifts can be quite hard as we both have everything that we need.
