Fed and watered

Dinner this evening was so tasty and simple. I par boiled and then roasted a pan full of carrots, parsnips potatoes and sprouts before tossing them all in olive oil and roasting them in the oven. Before roasting them I seasoned them well with salt and freshly ground black pepper then cooked them with some minced lamb pinwheels and oh my word they were delicious. They are probably really easy to make as it was simply minced lamb with onion and seasoning rolled up in puff pastry just like a pinwheel. It's definitely on my list of things to make when I next have a packet of puff pastry. Tony is on standby until 7am tomorrow so alcohol will not be partaken this evening. Not that it bothers either of us and a good cup of tea will be just as nice. Hope you all have a lovely evening. x
