I am having a bad hair day so I shall remain headless. The bob that I am growing in has reached the 'pudding basin' stage and it's hard not to give in and have it cut short.. I shall persevere as I know it will be nice once it's grown in properly. This is my tasteful jumper for today. The very shiny sequins are not being picked up by the camera and if I am being honest the black is very stark against my face. I shall have to soften the look with my lovely red Christmas scarf if I can find it. I am tempted to cut some felt Christmas trees, bells and snowflakes and pin them all around the bottom of my red wool coat. I might just do that today. I have bought some plastic kids rings that light up and flash in bright colours. I wore one on each hand on top of my gloves yesterday while out walking with my friend. I gave one to Marian and we raised a few smiles..The Santa hat complete with tiny light is raising smiles. More than happy to be the reason someone smiles. Heaven knows, we all could do with a little light in our lives this year.
Maureen I have eight Christmas jumpers collected over many years. Some of them I have had for close on twenty years. They get carefully washed and packed away after the New year begins. I love the American idea of an ugly sweater party. I may have to host one for my friends next year if this virus is under control.
Wonderful jumper! I hate it when my hair has that 'inbetween' stage. It's so tempting just to get it cut short, but once it's past that stage it settles in nicely. I've resisted having it cut short over the summer just so I don't have to go through it lol
ReplyDeleteI like this one, you know how I love bling, lol
