My lovely pamper session

What a lovely afternoon I had yesterday.  I had my nails done, a lovely facial and my hair cut and blow dried. I've never had my nails done in a salon before and it was the first time I have ever had a facial. Julie had offered the free session to us to say thanks for supporting her while she builds her business. Bless her, we couldn't let her do all that for us for nothing.  My friend and I each gave her £20 and it was worth every single penny.  Actually Tony paid for mine as he came to pick me up and then waited an hour while Julie did my hair. He is a total sweetheart.

I am off out for a walk a bit earlier today. Marian and I are both up early so she has text to say  7.15?  I reply with a thumbs up emoji.  It's just a daft little code that we worked out some time ago.  Tonight Tony and I are signed up for John's 'Zoom quiz' at 8pm over on the Going Gently blog. We know how to live the high life.  I'll pop back later and see how you all are.  Stay safe everyone.

  2. Sounds wonderful, Cherie, it's lovely to be pampered occasionally. And nice to support small local businesses.
