It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Yesterday when Tony and I went for a walk we noticed that the house at the bottom of our road is fully decorated for Christmas. It's a bit early for me but I can fully understand why people would want to bring a bit of light and hope into their homes right now. If you have followed me for a while you will know just how much Tony and I love Christmas. I even managed to source 50 disposable masks with a Christmas theme.  I shall be handing a few of them out to various friends as soon as the total lockdown ends. It might bring a smile to someone's face if they see them. I was delighted when I opened the parcel to find that they are surprisingly well made. I bet you could use paper serviettes to make them. If you do that I think I would be inclined to just wear them over a cloth mask as a bit of fun though. Hmmmmn,  now that's got my brain ticking. I have some beautiful serviettes from my decoupage days. Wouldn't they make nice disposable masks as a fun wedding favour.

  1. I have been thinking a lot about Christmas of late and getting things ready gifts and food. But like you a little too early for e decorate as yet but I think lockdown in England and in some areas around the UK has made people need a little cheer.

  3. I think some Xmas fabric would work too for homemade ones that you don't have to dispose of, as the disposable ones seem to be the main source of litter at the moment, especially around the shopping centre areas. I do very little decorating these days as there is usually only the two of us here & yes way too early for me. Have a good week & take care.

    1. I know what you mean about the disposable masks. We keep seeing lovely cloth ones that have been dropped. It's a bit like poppies during the run up to poppy day celebrations.
