What shall I do today?

Tony's just gone for a walk with his friend Ken. They've each packed a flask and a sandwich and the weather looks quite decent so they will enjoy a good 'bloke chat'.  We women do it all the time but men don't often do that do they. It does Tony the world of good to get out into the fresh air with his friend. I am now wondering how best to fill my time.  I had planned to have a mammoth cooking session for the freezer tomorrow but seeing as how I have the house to myself I think I might just go and get on with it.  I'm thinking  hotpot, cottage pie and beef curry. I bought lovely fresh veggies yesterday so they are going to make the most yummy meals which will last us a couple of weeks.  What are you up to today?  I do hope that you are all safe and warm.. not too warm though, just comfortable.  Lately I haven't done a lot of crafting as I've been quite busy writing poetry for the magazine. With a bit of luck I might get to have some of it printed. Time will tell.

  1. Hope you do get it published, then I can say I'm friends with a famous poet!

    1. Bless you Sooze. I 've already been paid for one and the editor has asked if she can keep the others for future editions. They only pay when they actually use them so I am chuffed to bits that they like them.

  2. Good luck with the poetry. I've done a little bit of cooking this morning. I finished another 2 jars of sloe gin and a jar and a half of sloe jelly.
