Major rethink of my garden

Well I've bitten the bullet and bought twenty five metres of blue plastic water pipe which will be delivered today. My intention is to cut it up into lengths and use some net and horticultural fleece to create grow tunnels. I am planning on growing as much fresh food as I possibly can in my garden.  I have loved having a pretty garden but now it's time for some food to be grown. I still plan to have loads of flowers but there will be far more emphasis on things we can eat.  At the moment I am giving away vast bunches of sweet peas to my friends and neighbours.  I might just as well grow beans and edible peas and far fewer sweet peas. I will still grow enough to have plenty for myself.

And just look at what my friend and I found this morning.  A neighbour had put them at the top of her drive for the local 'rag and bone' man (person)? There were two so we had one each.  It does make a pretty addition to my border and might be useful to grow something up next year. I might take the glass marbles out and either leave empty spaces or put some prettier ones in their place
