While chatting with my 'Southern Softie' 😃😃 friend Anona the other day, she gave me a great tip to prevent sopping wet bath towels hanging around the house. Before wrapping yourself in a bath towel. Use a face cloth to dry off as much wet as you can. It's one of those 'Why didn't I think of that' kind of tips. It will make a big difference during the long cold wet winter months.
I am in the middle of a garden makeover and at last the garden is starting to look tidier. The poor old lawn does look very scarred but give it a few weeks and it will look a lot better. I had come in for a rest and a cuppa but it's started to rain now so that might be the gardening finished for the day.

I've just told my husband that tip about the flannel, and he said 'I always do that....don't you?'. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteHad a friend who did that after only being allowed a face washer during WW2 when on cleaning up duty in Japan. Must admit I don't, but it's a good idea. Your lawn looks better than ours. Take care & huggles.
