Lovely new haircut

I was really impressed at the hairdressers yesterday.  Julie had booked out her salon for the entire afternoon for myself and two friends.  Marian and I wore gloves and masks to travel to the salon and took them off when we got there. We all wore our masks and sanitised our hands as we went into the room.  The room is quite large so we each sat well spaced out. Julie sanitised the sink after each of us had our hair washed and used a different set of combs and scissors for each of us. While washing our hair she switched on the chair's massage function so  it felt like a proper pamper session.  Shampoo, great cut and a blow dry for which she only asked £12.50.It's usually £15 but because we had booked a block booking she wanted to give us a discount.  Julie spent 45 minutes on each of us and that really felt like a piffling amount of money to ask for.  Both Marian and I gave her £20 and my other friend gave her £15.  It was money very well spent and absolutely deserved.   Its been five months since I last had my hair cut professionally so I really didn't mind giving Julie a well deserved larger than normal tip. We came away feeling as though we had been for a girls pamper weekend.
