Look what I have been given

I've been for my early morning walk this morning and then later on I am jumping on the train to visit my friend. She has invited me for lunch and I know it will be utterly gorgeous. Tripta is Indian and cooks the most amazing food so I know I am in for a treat. I have made another fruit with yoghurt to share for dessert as we are trying to eat healthily. I picked a lovely big bunch of sweet peas from my garden as I know she will enjoy the scent of them for a few days.

Another of my friends has been given a huge box of fabric from her friend who very sadly is receiving EOL care in a hospice. The request was to pass it on to people that would appreciate it. I chose this box of  fat quarter sets from the stash but there is about five times more for others to choose from. I also got the two quilters rulers and they will come in really handy when I am in quilting mode.

  1. How sad, but what a lovely gift. You are the perfect crafter to receive it.

  2. I know how hard it is for me to part with my fabric, and would be even under end of life circumstances, but she has made an amazing gift of hers. Very pretty colours. I know you'll make excellent use of it.
