RIP George Floyd

Although I try to keep my blog lighthearted and non political there are some occasions that make my blood boil enough to want to place a post here.  The following link contains footage that is extremely distressing so please be aware.  I will not let the death of  this man go unacknowledged and just want to say to the officers involved  SHAME ON YOU. I abhor bullying/racism/prejudice in any form and would always stand side by side with anyone that chooses to fight it.

  1. I have seen the footage and shocked beyond words how despite his pleas that he couldn't breathe they did nothing. Plus they knew they were being filmed and showed no emotion. It totally beggars belief.

  2. A picture is worth a thousand words. A video even more. The cold and casual cruelty in this killing is truly unbelievable. No wonder people are protesting. And it's not just this death. It's this death on top of so many more, and it's the weight of everyday discrimination and injustice that is adding to the outrage. As well it should.
