Redcar Beach

Tony and I had a lovely walk on Redcar beach at lunchtime. It's only fifteen minutes drive away and I don't know why we don't go there very often. We had a sit on the sand in the sunshine and then gathered some seaweed for the garden. We just got back to the car as the rain started.  Next time we are forecast a sunny day we plan to take a picnic and walk over to Saltburn. Only trouble would be the toilet facilities. It's a good hours walk from Redcar to Saltburn so we may have to wait until the pubs are open again.

I always leave a Peace sign on the beach

  2. We actually found a public toilet open near the beach last week and the taps outside unlocked. I think the beach hut owners forced them to open it.

    1. It's crazy to keep them locked. If you have to go you really have to go

    1. It's a lovely beach with fine golden sand. I thoroughly enjoy going there and might make it a more regular trip out. Pity that the town centre is a bit run down though.
