And if ever I needed reason to lose a stone this photo proves it. I am really starting to look porky and in desperate need of a haircut.
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Your top bit looks alright, nice smile, but what about the bottom bit?
ReplyDeleteJust imagine a tub of lard... blurghhhhhhhh not nice
DeletePoor Tripta having to cancel her plans to visit india, it seems like they're really struggling with Covid at the moment, there was some really traumatic footage on the news at the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou don't look porky at all, you look radiantly pretty and I'm loving the print on your dress. xxx
Bless you Vix, that is a lovely thing to say.x
DeleteSeriously? Porky WHERE??? You look THIN to me.
ReplyDeleteI am carrying a stone more than this time last year. Oh to be able to fit in my 'last year' clothes.
DeleteHow disappointing for your dear friend to cancel a trip to see family, it must have been really hard. You have a beautiful smile Cherie and that is all that you see. Losing weight will come when we return to some normality.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely thing to say. Thank you x
DeleteYou look lovely! Hope you had a fun lunch
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. Tripta and I had a lovely afternoon together.
DeleteGive over Cherie, if that's porky I wish I was! You look lovely. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue. x
DeleteSo disappointing for Tripta. I'm glad you had a lovely time together.
ReplyDeleteYou don't look porky to me, you look really nice and your smile is beautiful.
xx
I think my round face always makes me feel chubby so as soon as I put any weight on I develop hamster cheeks
DeleteYou are far too hard on yourself! I see a radiant smile and friendly face. AND a far more slender body than I have. But I do remember the feeling of outgrowing my "slender" clothing. I wish I had worked harder on losing the weight when there was less to lose :) My hair is a sight and I've just had to cancel an appointment - couldn't get another for a whole month more ...
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get a haircut on two weeks time now as soon as the lockdown eases. I am starting to resemble a haystack
DeleteI think you look great. Your friend looks very happy, too. How fun to spend time together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephenie. Tripta is great company
DeleteHa Ha on the weight and hair....me guesses that the world is with you, I know I am.
ReplyDeleteI do not seem to have your email...so I just comment here...Your garden is unbelievable...brave you going for an outing and thank you for your comment on my blog...Nice grandchildren names for sure... My girl and her man are wavering between Aoife and Nora...Oh, well xo DIane
I love working in the garden and try to plant for fragrance as much as possible. I once knew a girl called Nora and the boys in class very cruelly called her Ig... (Ignora) Kids can be very cruel
