This morning for the first time since lockdown I was able to have a cuppa with my friend Jayne. She happened to mention yesterday that she needs a scientific calculator in order to complete her maths test. I have one which she could have so she popped in today to pick it up. We had a proper socially distanced cuppa and after putting the world to rights Jayne has gone home with a bag filled with a variety of cuttings from my garden. Some have already been rooted and some she will attempt to root herself. It's ages since Jayne was here and she was really impressed at how quickly the new hedge is starting to establish itself. I gave her several cuttings from it.
When ever a bit breaks off a plant or I trim something I try to root it to give to friends and family. Your garden is looking good.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I can't bear to throw cuttings away when I trim my plants back. I bung them into the soil and keep them watered for a year. Some I win and some I lose but it's fun trying.
DeleteYour garden is looking wonderful, everything looks so healthy.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Cherie!
