A pleasant surprise

Last night I received a text from a friend asking whether we had had pie and chips from The Gables. When I said that we had I was told that the pub landlady had put a message on Facebook asking us to contact her.  We don't do facebook so it was sheer chance that my friend saw it. When Tony rang the pub it turns out that we had been given the wrong order.  The pie and chips we collected was the small size????? Our next meal there is now a buy one get one free to make up for the mistake.  I couldn't eat the portion I had and had to give Tony it to finish. Goodness knows how big the regular size meal wll be.
