My plant haul

Just along the road from where we live there is a plant nursery and I discovered yesterday from a friend that it is open. We popped along with the intention of buying some compost for my new camellia and ended up spending £80 + on plants... But they had no compost.  Hmmm, we will have to pop back another day. We didn't mind in the slightest, the cost of the plants as a lot of them will come back year on year and we get so much pleasure from the garden. We are unlikely to get a holiday this year so why the heck not.
Tony found some rusty concrete reinforcing so we picked it up and have made some really nice frames for climbing plants. They will be lovely when they are clothed with sweet peas. Next year I intend to grow climbing beans up them but I doubt we will find any bean plants this year. The weather is forecast to change at the weekend so we are making the most of it while the sun shines.  Stay safe and have a lovely weekend everyone. x

They are so pretty and will look perfect in the trough below the porch window

We found a gorgeous new Hosta called Guacamole

We couldn't resist buying a couple of black petunias they look just like velvet

It's looking lovely and green at the moment

Our little bird box collection is growing on the shed wall.

  3. I'm jealous - I have no idea whether garden centres are open round here although I suppose I could ask. I've ordered various supplies online and I think I will make do with what I've got this year.
