Lovely sunny day

It's been absolutely gorgeous today so after our walk this morning we spent most of the day working in the garden. I finally got around to repairing the little sentry box where we store the garden tools. It has been moved so many times that it was starting to come apart. A few taps with a hefty hammer sorted that out. When that was done I set to and repaired the door.  It's driven me nuts every time I looked at it and today I couldn't stand it any more. It's now fixed....  Then I screwed some good strong screws on to the door and hung a wall basket there. I have filled it with white lobelia and a red geranium. It will look really pretty when it all starts to flower.  Bulbs have been dug up and moved.  Self seeded plants and a few cuttings have been moved to Tony's project garden.  It does look pretty and I am pleased to see Tony working on a project. As soon as it all bushes out a bit I will share a few photos.  I even sowed a few more seeds but goodness knows where we will put them.
Have you had a busy day or was it a quiet and relaxing one.?

  1. That all sounded very productive after your lovely walk. Not much done here on Saturday with our brutally cold wet weather. I think after we empty the rain gauge this morning, we'll be just on average for May & we are only 2 days in. What! Hopefully some sunshine in the coming week so we can at least go for a local walk. Take care, stay safe & hugs from down under.
