The wind the other day smashed down one of my lupins but another has come into its own these past few days. My pelargoniums are looking vibrant and the garden looks really colourful. The hostas look gorgeous and the clump of Day Lilies growing next to the pond is a lovely shade of sunshine yellow
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... It's looking really pretty outdoors
What do you think of my new header photo? :-) Any excuse to eat crisps. I made it years ago but am eyeballing a couple more bags so may have to make another.

Your garden is beautiful our lupins have just started to flower, and today we've planted some plants I've grown from seed, all indoors as we don't have a green house here.
ReplyDeleteSo many flowers. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteLoving your garden in all it's Spring glory & hope you post more pics as summer comes along. I may have even gleaned a few ideas from it, though we don't have as many good plant companies as you in the UK. Must start getting more organised in mine over winter, so it looks as nice as yours. Take care, stay safe & huggles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours and textures and arrangements! Your garden is so far ahead of ours here in Nova Scotia. Our warm weather is just starting now, so I look forward to seeing some colour of my own soon.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful and colourful variety of flowers. Yes, the crisp packets made into a bag did make me smile. Such a fun make.
ReplyDeleteHow DARE the wind do your beautiful garden any damage. Poor lupin - hopefully it will pick up again.
ReplyDeleteGardens give us such joy, don't they - I often think of the rhyme:
The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth.
One is nearer God's heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth
