Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... A really early start.
I woke just after 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. After tossing and turning for an hour I finally gave up and slipped out of bed to come downstairs. I've had a cuppa, browsed a load of blogs and done a little dusting but don't want to rattle around too much as it isn't fair on Tony. He needs a lot more sleep than I do so it is easier for me to leave him until he is ready to get up. I have been looking at 'she sheds' on Pinterest and oh my there are some pretty ones. Can't make up my mind whether to dismantle Le Crafterie and buy a new shed or simply to repair it. I've had it for eighteen years and in truth we didn't give a lot of thought to where we would site it. It's completely rotten and hole filled around the base now so it might be just as well to buy a new but smaller one. I think it's a case of watch this space.

ReplyDeleteGood morning early bird. How's the dreaded virus in your neck of the woods?
DeleteI'm having a shed dilemma myself. Maybe I'll just wait for it to fall down by itself and save me the job of dismantling it :)
ReplyDeleteMy shed (just a shad) is not in a great condition either. I'm dithering about another similar thing or - and I like this idea - waiting and saving and using savings to invest in a slightly larger 'garden room' of the flat pack variety. That would be a longer term project, of course.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather liking the latter at the moment. It would have two doors and a separate area for the garden equipment.
Something for me to ponder over.
If your shed is so rotten, I guess a new one would be the way to go.
