Yesterday I decided to wash the conservatory windows. It hardly took me more than ten minutes so I really must do them a bit more often. I usually struggle up and down on my little kitchen steps but yesterday I had a 'eureka moment'. I asked Tony to cut a piece from a spare broom handle and added about 18 inches to the squeegee. I don't know why I never thought of it earlier. It made the job so much easier and a lot safer for me as I didn't need the steps.
We had our usual walk out and it's amazing me to see how many people are out and about enjoying a gentle stroll. My friend Marian and I never used to see a soul and even if I walked later with another friend we hardly saw anyone. It's really bizarre though as everyone immediately crosses the road with a smile and a wave when someone approaches.
The sun went in for a while so I headed up into the craft room to make a card and pretty envelope for a friend. It took ages making all the little components and I thoroughly enjoyed playing with my die cutting machine... I've said it before and I will say it again. My Bigshot is the most useful piece of kit I have ever owned.
Beautiful box card, so fresh and vibrant. We are seeing a few more people about here too, i guess they are usually at work. Stay safe. Emmax
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card. I love the pinks of the flowers. There are a lot more people walking in our area and bike riding too. Meg:)
ReplyDeleteLove the card you've made. Very clever and you certainly have a knack for crafting. I was only looking at our windows the other day and decided they are in need of abig clean. Not in this weather so will have to wait. Take care, stay safe and huggles.
