Oh dear, poor car and poor Tony

Just before he set of for work this morning Tony popped back into the house leaving the car running.  It rolled back down the drive smashing into the trailer.  The trailer was wrecked and the tow bar was forced under the car. It took poor Tony a while to free the car from the trailer.  He set off for work but had to turn around and come home.  There is something clearly wrong underneath the car and he has had to get a lift into work from a colleague.  Heaven knows how much the car will cost to repair.  I am tempted to say let's see if we can live without one as we seldom use it socially. Public transport here is great but I am not sure whether he could get to his beloved football matches.  I will know more when the men from the garage have had a look at the damage.

  1. Oh no - it's so frustrating to have an accident like that - I hope the damage is not too expensive to repair. Good thing no one was injured.

  3. Oh, that's too bad. I hope it all works out for you. I went car free for about a year and used public transportation.
