Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Lovely clean windows
It hardly takes five minutes to clean my kitchen windows and they always look so much nicer when they are done. What I want to know is why oh why the window has to be behind the sink. Do kitchen designers think we spend so much time washing up and food prep that we need a window to look out through. I have to climb up on the stepping stool and sit on the draining board each time I clean the flippin windows. They would be cleaned a lot more often if I could simply walk up to them and clean them.

Cherie mine need doing but I keep putting it off. Tomorrow is another day.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Cherie. Probably thought up by a man. I have to stretch just to open my kitchen window, and then when it's open I can't reach to grab the handle to close it again, have to go outside to do it. Stupid.
ReplyDeleteIt's also impractical because that's where you get lots of water splashes from the washing up. Arilx
ReplyDeleteYou remind me I must do mine. Maybe later on in the week!

I live in a place where there is no windows behind the sink. There's usually a drying cabinet above sink. Very practical. Ask ikea.
