Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... It looks promising out there
It's a bit frosty but the sky is blue and the sun is bright in the sky this morning. Even if it is cold I don't mind as I can soon add an extra layer. Spring is just around the corner and the sun is starting to feel warm on my face. If we could only lose the biting cold wind I think I would feel that winter has gone back into its cupboard. I'm off to work soon as there is an exam to invigilate but am wondering what will happen with the 'big exams' in May. There are a lot of Chinese students at the uni and I am a bit concerned about how the Corona virus will affect them. Perhaps they won't be allowed back into the country if thy aren't already here. Time will tell.

We've got another sunny morning here, although not as bright as yesterday, there's more cloud. Hope the invigilating goes alright. What do you do whilst you're sat there for a few hours? x
ReplyDeleteIf I am in the big venue with upwards of 100 students then I can walk around the hall. If I am in a smaller venue with much fewer students then I pretty much have to sit there as it would be too disturbing for the students to have me walking around the room. I find the smaller venues very hard as my muscles stiffen up badly. I mentally redecorate the house/garden. Spend millions of pounds of lottery winnings and do lots of muscle tightening exercises that don't take much movement. It was a short exam this morning and there was an issue I had to deal with. It passed quickly today.
DeleteIt looks promising here too, thank goodness. It's so nice to have a bit of sunshine.
