Happy Mother's Day

This isn't quite the Mother's day that most people had planned is it?  I have had a face time chat with Alexander and Beckah but of course it isn't quite the same.
It's been an absolutely gorgeous day here and Tony and I have spent most of it outdoors working in the garden. It looks so much neater out there and I will share a few photos tomorrow.  I think there are going to be some very pretty gardens later this year as we have seen many people with trolleys filled with compost and plants. Tony brought my propagator up out of the cellar so I can get on and sow some more seeds. I am planning on growing all manner of veg and will put them into the flower beds. We are going to have plenty of time to work in the garden this year and I hope to have loads of lovely fresh veg to share with my neighbours.

  1. It felt like Spring today Laurie. I have a bit of a sun tan.

  2. I am very excited about growing vegetables in the garden this year, too, Cherie. I will put my veggies in the ground the day after Easter. Right now they are in the sink. I just watered them. The fruit trees have been providing fruit for myself and some of my neighbors. Nature is so abundant!
