My lovely neighbour Bryan's funeral takes place this afternoon. It feels a little surreal to think my last social contact outside of my home might be a funeral. It's hard to believe that he won't sit on the bench in my garden whiling away an hour in the sun. I shall try my best to picture him there and not in his last days when he was so very poorly.
Goodbye Bryan.. You will be sorely missed
I don't want my post to be maudlin though so I thought I would start on the upcycling... :-)
Take one deodorant bottle and dismantle it. You now have a ping pong ball and a white napkin ring.. And that is before I start to upcycle it. That will happen tomorrow. I bet you can hardly wait :-)
So sorry😢. The white ring could be an egg cup? Xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, really looking forward to this.

Now you have piqued my interest. I will no doubt have to purchase that type of deodorant container the next time I'm out of the house and shopping. With the quarantine in place going on I'll definitely be out of deodorant by then. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Looking forward to the big reveal!

Sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteWow that is an interesting breakdown. I never would have thought about it.
I'm sorry about your friend. I'm sure he will still visit you in spirit in the garden.
ReplyDeleteFunerals are starting to be restricted to family only, here, along with weddings and baptisms. May you always have happy memories of your neighbour, despite the events of the day.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with this recycle project.
My Mum made the balls into Christmas baubles by covering them. Arilx
ReplyDeleteOH, guess what...when I visit England, I go to Super Drug in Eastbourne and buy that wonderful deodorant and the Jasmine and Coco Milk is my favorite. I bring it back home with me to America!! Now, when I finish it, I can do something else with it! :-)
