Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Beautiful new plants
Today I felt like treating myself to some new houseplants. We got the weekend shop out of the way and then called in to B and Q to see what they had in stock. I have wanted a 'Swiss Cheese' plant for years so that was added to the shopping trolley. A plant with beautiful variegated leaves just called my name as we browsed. It too was added to the shopping trolley and I will have a look online to see what it is called. Tony chose a gorgeous variegate 'Umbrella tree' and we both chose a stunning variegated weeping fig. I came home a happy bunny.

Your home must be like living in a greenhouse! Having houseplants is good for the air, they say, but it's also calming and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteUrban jungle... :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are fabulous. Having just had to chuck the Christmas poinsettias, I may follow your example, as the sideboard looks rather bleak without something planty.

They are a delight, I really do need to add a few to our own little cottage.
ReplyDeleteDon't they freshen up a room. I never used to bother much with houseplants but my collection is slowly growing. X
ReplyDeleteThose are so gorgeous. I know you will take very good care of them.
ReplyDeleteLovely plants! I can't keep a lot of houseplants because the cat likes to eat them and a lot of them are toxic to cats! I keep a few up on the top of bookcases where he can't get to them!
