Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... We didnt go
I came out of work absolutely exhausted so we haven't gone to the ceilidh. Tea tonight was utter junk food as I just couldn't face cooking and a glass or two of port and lemon will be on the menu this evening. Not exactly the way to lose weight but hey ho sometimes fatigue takes over and good intentions fly out of the window. I'm looking forward to a bit of a sleep in tomorrow but bet I am up with the flippin larks. I'm working on Monday but then the exams will be all done and dusted until May so other than the occasional exam I am free to run amok in my craft room. Lot's of ideas simmering in my head.

I'm sorry you were so exhausted that you had to miss out on the fun evening, but, it's better to rest when tired and it sounds like you have a nice, relaxing evening planned. Hope you have a lovely day, tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bless. We had a very lazy weekend.
DeleteI think you mnade the right decision there. Maybe, as you were so shattered, you wouldn't have enjoyed it much anyway. Hoping you don't wake early but get a nice lie in both today and tomorrow.

Some days it pays to just stay home, eat whatever is easy, and rest up for the next day!
ReplyDeleteHope that a restful weekend has helped and that you are feeling much better.
