We have just had a cheeky offer of £68000 for Alexander's house. It's on the market for £80000 and naturally we turned it down but we were surprised to have an offer so soon in the year. There are two more viewings next week.. It's crazy how much further your money will go 'up north'. You couldn't buy a garage in London for this price

DeleteYou couldn't by a garage down here for that price, the house next door to me with 5 bedrooms sold for almost a million pounds, just an end of terrace.

DeleteIt sounds like his home will sell quickly. I plan to keep mine forever, prices have risen dramatically. So many people sell to cash out, then they all want to move back to California, and it's too expensive. You could make a gorgeous backyard behind that house.
